Vicura is a spin-off of the transmissions development department built up at Saab while under the ownership of GM. The company is taking over about 50 engineers from Saab Powertrain.

The company is financed by a consortium that is led by Fouriertransform but among others consists of ALMI Företagspartner Väst AB. VICURA is a consultancy who develop complete systems or subcomponents within transmission for the international automotive industry, including Saab.

By Fouriertransform’s investment, the unique expertise within this field remains in Sweden, which is within Fouriertransform’s mission, to strengthen the competitiveness of the Swedish automotive cluster.

Brief Product Description

Transmission System such as manual gearboxes or DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), that consists of mechanical components like gears, shafts, housings and electronic control systems. The Technology development company VICURA’s organization has worked with some of the international automotive industry’s most demanding customers and through this they have an unique knowledge to offer the world.
